20-02-2021 - Welcome to Of Yore. We're happy to announce we're open and excited to see new faces in our midst. We appreciate the support of all of our current members and new members as we transition into new and exicting updates. Keep an eye out for new events and changes happening along the way!
A time of peace and healing is upon the clans as they slowly learn to live apart. For the last six moons, the clans have lived together as one clan, and now they must learn to live separately again. New relationships forged, friendships created, and their world just may never be the same again.
We're a warrior cats roleplay based in North America. We've been around for a year and are always excited to see a new member! We are currently a character-led site, meaning that the plots of our characters play a big impact in the direction of our site. A plot is in the future, but for now, as the clans rebuild we'll remain plotless.

The clans have recently moved and found a new place to call their own. With this comes a plethora of problems, including driving out predators, building their new camps, and so much more. Each clan will need to work hard to make their new camps and territories feel like home.
A Large range of mountains rest in the center of the territory - and also home to the Ridgeclan cat’s camp. In the crescent shaped center, higher up from the base of the mountain, a large cavern is exposed to the world. Multiple vines drape over the entrance to provide some shelter and hide the clan’s young and old. The dens of the apprentices, warriors and elders are found on the left side of the wall, dug out by nature itself. On the right side the medicine cat, nursery and leader find their dens. In the center of the camp, a large boulder stands alone, it is the location where the leader announces their clan meetings. The floor is dusty, and has a thin layer of moss on it.
While the large canyon marks their most southern border, snowy peaks of mountains mark their most western borders. Large sloping mountains that provide little coverage or care for the felines that traverse them. However should one make it to the top they can have an excellent view of all the territories. A natural hot springs of sorts rests near the base of those mountains, falling into more mountainous and forestry territory. Lush undergrowth and sky-lined cliffs are what give the clan it’s name. However if one looks further north they will discover a rocky beach where dunes of sand are common, but not as common as the large rocks are the base of the large cliffs.
Shoalclan's camp is placed in an unorthodox location; well hidden and defensible compared to their previous camps. The camp is situated within a narrow rocky ravine filled with moss and a small brook that runs through. Dens are made in the rocky crag's of the ravine.
When it comes to describing Shoalclan’s territory the simplest way to describe it is saying it’s diverse. It has an alpine tundra climate filled with rocky outcroppings, expansive thick forests, a coastline, and wide open tundra’s. The place is filled with life and opportunity, however, while winter’s maybe mild it can still get exceptionally cold. During summer the territory is a vibrant and colorful place to explore. Here cat’s need to always keep an eye open as predators are lurking around every corner due to the high prey populations.
Near the base of a small mountain forming from the canyon, a cavern leads downwards into the dusty earth. The rocky decline provides a challenge for some who do not know the right footing, however once through the entrance one will notice how the cavern expands allowing in the natural light of the entrance to just reach the furthest parts of it’s interior. There are five dugouts along the left and right walls, home to the warriors, apprentices, elders and queens. A large platform extends from the back wall where the leader makes announcements and sleeps upon the ledge above it. The medicine cat sleeps below the platform, in a den where the back wall is always wet with moisture.
A large canyon borders their northern and eastern part of the territory known to home the Prairieclan cats. Rolling hills of lush green grass dappled with the occasional lining of trees provides the ultimate coverage for the felines who have known nothing but the open eyes for all their lives. Hidden in the deep south of their territory mountain peaks emerge from a marigold meadow. To their east the sound of falls echo throughout the nearbound area - brackening those who desire a swim to its depths.
At the corner of both ShoalClan and PrairieClan lays a small stretch of moorlands. It butts up against Prairieclan’s Jasmine Falls and marks the border between these two territories. There is few plants and herbs in this area, mostly just lush, flowing grass.
Behind the Starling Springs, butting up against ShoalClan’s Faltawa Woods is a spacious gap between the mountain ranges. This marks the border between Ridgeclan and Shoalclan. It is always very misty here, thick with clouds and haze from the mountain peaks. There is little to no vegetation here, but there are several rocks and small snow dappled pine trees.
A large gap is chipped into the side of the canyon, and in the gap sits an old willow tree; embedded between the rocky formation of the canyon and Prairieclan territory, thus making the borderline between the two clans. It is often very windy here and there is very little vegetation.
Padding through the forest, skirting along clan borders eventually carries you to the entrance of an old, small cave. Moss and lichen clings to the cold stone walls. This is the place where Medicine Cats come to gather. A short narrow pathway forged by the walls of the cave winds down towards a spacious opening with a glistening gem in the middle. A opening above the stone in the ceiling provides the light of Starclan from above.
These track’s span between the old fishing town and the ruined mineshaft. At first this track was used for transporting iron ore found in the mountain side until the veins all but dried up. Since then these railroads haven't been used or disturbed. Train carts can be found toppled over on the side of the tracks along with some still upright, making for good shelter. Nature has seemed to reclaim this land slowly over time as ivy, moss and other fungi have made their home on the train carts.
